Fred Luz is a film director who has won three Cannes Lions awards. He won the Silver Lion in film with the Buscapé project, actually the only Lion in a Brazilian film in 2023. In the same year, Fred received the award for Best Film Director in Brazil at El Ojo. Fred is currently represented by O2 Filmes in America, the largest production company in South America, and by Harrold Productions in Europe. Fred also won the “Best Idea” award at the Ciclope South America Festival last year.

Fred has just completed the general direction of the film for the repositioning campaign of the most valuable brand in the southern hemisphere of the planet: Banco Itaú. He worked with names like Madonna, Ronaldo Nazário, Jorge Ben, Fernanda Montenegro, Carlos Alcaraz, among others.

The director has a long career, having worked for major brands. Fred seeks balance between a sensitive narrative and a refined aesthetic. Fred holds that entertainment must be relevant and believes in strong storytelling.
